To set the record straight here is what happened... Nothing added... nothing taken away...

15 July 2007 Bolo is rehomed to a pet home with the guarantee he would be their family pet for the rest of his life... Since then the new owner has decided he was too nice for his own good... and rehomed him. As retaliation for my being naturally upset, Sally Rankine has decided to attack me with some dispicable web-pages of which copies will come below. She started of slandering my children, myself , Bolo and my dogs in general. To set the record straight here is what happened... As you will see through her own web-pages... her version of events is in constant evolution... (who said you can't change the past ?!). Sally Rankine is so honest that she even changes people's messages on her guestbook to suit her story and publishes what she wants to keep...

”Wow Bo is sooo proud of his mother and relatives. I have done a new post on the competition section. I think it's a bit more impressive than some of the trumpets being blown!! ;) Well done well done. Busy day today, it's our 10th wedding anniversary and I am cooking a cordon bleu meal which will take me all day. Take care.

It is the big green disease of jealousy that makes people like this. When I showed cats I was good friends with other breeders, those I beat and those who beat me. Life is too short to be like that when you all have a common interest.
I hope that you are not just pretending that it is water off a ducks back and that it really doesn't bother you. I believe you are a very sympatico woman and that it must affect you and you put a brave face on. Don't, you are better than them with your dogs and you are magnanimous (prob not spelt right). “...He is the most laid back dog here, no longer even bothered by other dogs entering 'his field'. He is my shadow, he follows me everywhere…Kira I feel quite upset now. I fee that I am letting him down. I hope you are not feeling that you have placed him in the wrong home :-( Am going to finish now as I have a dreadful feeling of guilt. “...We have decided that we are going to get a second lab. I think it will be a puppy and I hope it will be a yellow this time, black being second choice. If you could have seen Bo with this dog the other day I am sure he would love to share his bed and toys with a playmate. Now herein lies the problem. I want a yellow version of Bo haha. It has to be a lovely dog to look at but it must have a brain too. Perhaps you could point me in the direction of any kennels down South that you think might be worth approaching. We would without hesitation go for TW but as we only want a pet we hope to pay a pet price. It is funny how when you get into the breed how you can get approached to take on others dogs, but I don't want to get into showing. I hope that didn't sound bad and if I win the lottery I would like 4 TW's please :-) …So I will see you there, looking forward to it. :-)

“...Now I wanted to say that next year if you get a really nice bitch that has show/breeding promise please keep me in mind. We are going to move in the Spring, hopefully with a decent plot of land and I would like to have one or two labs to show initially, with the option to breed. I'm sure you have a long list of potential owners but bare in mind I can't wait too long otherwise I won't ever get the chance to breed or I'll be too old even too run around the ring lol.

Just to let you know that I will be coming up to Birmingham on the 8th with a crowd from the forum. Well the mad english woman couldn't miss the opportunity of seeing 3 generations of Leith-Ross's now could she? ;)

“...Bolo is fine, he is blowing his coat at the moment...last time was when he arrived in July. He is quite exhausted today as Louis has been here all day marching him around the house. He just grins and bears it bless him, he's such a poppet.

“...Bo just wanted to send his best wishes to his mother on the birth of his half brothers and sisters. She is certainly consistant with her litter size of 12 !! Hope she is ok as I noticed the shaved leg in one of the photo's?
Also well done for your results yesterday.
So hopefully there will be something in Tiwi's litter for you to keep, fingers crossed.

“…However having Bo and going to several shows I had the bug and wanted to try myself. I think I will have some fun with Blondie all being well and one day if all the health tests are good I hope I will be able to breed from her. I have my Starprint diary and have already marked down the shows I hope to enter. I joined a ringcraft class and took Bo a few times to get my hand in…. Bolo is very very gentle with the puppy, I knew he would be. He gives up all his toys to her, she has no manners yet and just pinches them from him. Bless, she couldn't have a better companion to live with….I shall look forward to seeing how Tiwi's pups do in the showring and pass the news onto dearest Bolo.

“This is a courtesy email really to let you know that I am now completely fed up with all the bullying etc that goes on between the dogs so have decided that as I wish to concentrate on showing/breeding that in Bo's best interests to rehome him.
We have been deliberating this for the last 3 months and we loathe to make the decision but enough is enough now, he is far too tolerant for his own good… It is sad but circumstances change and I didn't foresee that I would want to start showing when I had him or that my pup would bully him so.
